“A Gothic Paradise”

The Thirteenth Hour Haunted Attraction has moved to a new location for the 2022 season and it was our very first year experiencing this haunt. We were simply amazed and walked away with some great memories. Thirteenth Hour has become one of our favorite haunts in Indiana because of its incredible set design, sound, lighting and acting. It’s unlike anything else in the Indianapolis area. You could say that it’s a Gothic paradise.
Once you enter the clock entrance, you and other people will be put in a sections before it’s your turn to experience the rest of the haunt. The Spider’s lair features a Spider Queen who wants to make you her next meal. Other characters include an evil nun who can be found in a schoolhouse. She yells out Sinner as you walk past her. Meet Master who rises in the air. The cathedral is large and quite detailed. Old crypts and tombstones decorate paths. There’s stained glass windows, arches, creepy statues and more. This is a very ornate haunt. A widow walks aimlessly as she cries out. This is a very immersive haunt that will make you jump out of your skin. Walk past hooded characters where one comes alive.
This is a quite theatrical haunt with amazing lighting effects and even snow. Thirteenth Hour is very colorful where you’ll see a multitude of colored lights including green, blue, pink, purple and more. You’ll walk through large mausoleums, walk past a bleeding statue that drips into green glowing water and more. There’s a plethora of scenes that will catch your attention. Enter purgatory as a bridge drops. The final scene looks like the waiting room from the movie Beetlejuice. Enter an old coffin and The Thirteenth Hour has come to an end.
This is far from your run of the mill haunt. It’s an exquisite experience where you won’t be waiting between each attraction. It’s one large unforgettable haunt that will leave you breathless. I loved it. Thirteenth Hour consists of Cartocket Expeditions, Widows Walk Cemetery Cathedral of Souls and Mine No. 13. It took us 22 minutes to survive everything. The trail leading to the clock entrance could have used more actors, but this is a very small portion of the haunt. That’s really our only complaint. We can’t say enough good things about Thirteenth Hour Haunted Attraction. General admission is $29.99 Fast Lane is $39.99 and Instant Access is $59.99.
