The freaks come out at night at Haunted Town Hall. Will you survive the madness? This is City Blood’s 2021 review of Haunted Town Hall in Lafayette, Ohio.

2021 will be Haunted Town Hall’s 10th year of fear. The building was first built in 1899 and was used as the town hall, jail and more. You’ll be creeped out just looking at the building. Imagine how many ghosts must be haunting this place. The Haunted Town Hall is somewhat of an old school style haunt with unique features. The pick a door room had me quite confused as I tried to make it out alive in one piece. The tilted room will have you holding on for dear life as you try to hold on for dear life.

The Haunted Town Hall has a variety of scenes that are sure to put a chill down your spine. This includes a cave, a spider invasion, jail and much much more. We loved the cemetery/tomb that was full of the undead that wanted to take a bite out of us. The classroom was also a favorite of ours. A student looks at the chalk board that says “I will not kill”. A ghost suddenly appears out of nowhere. This is haunt that features many colorful characters. If you love chainsaws then you’re in for a real treat at Haunted Town Hall. Their country cabin/ hillbilly area features two psychotic killers who are ready to cut you up with their gas powered murder weapons.

A twisted doctor pulls the intestines out of a patient and asks if you want to smell his fingers. There are a lot of twisted actors at Haunted Town Hall. The clown in the chain maze did a great job at freaking us out to no end and the killer in the disgusting kitchen was very convincing as she screamed her head off. This is a classic haunt with classic characters. We loved our time at Haunted Town Hall. The last time we visited was in 2014 and we’re very happy that we made a return.

Haunted Town Hall is a very special haunt. It actually feels haunted. Total tour time was 15 minutes. Don’t forget to enter their speakeasy 5 minute Escape Room after you’re finished. We found the beer mug, but weren’t able to complete all the challenges. It’s a fun side attraction that’s sure to entertain many. Tickets are only $12 which is quite reasonable considering the quality of this attraction. A fast Pass to skip the line is $24. The Escape room is $7 per person. Adult escape Room and Haunted Town Hall combo tickets are $17. Fast Pass for the haunt and escape room is $29. Children 12 and under get in for $2 cheaper.

Haunted Town Hall reminds us of many classic haunts we’ve toured over the years. It’s spooky, scary and downright fun. The actors are intense and there are some unique scenes and a hidden passageway or two. We highly recommend that you pay them a visit this haunt season. You won’t be disappointed. Mayor Joseph is waiting, muhahaha!
