“The Corn, Glorious Corn”

Welcome to Hanna Haunted Acres, a farm full of fear and fun! Hanna Haunted Hayride is the most popular attraction at Hanna Haunted Acres. This 20 minute hayride will take you on a journey where you’ll meet large monsters and menacing creatures. There’s tons of eye catching props including an animated headless horseman, a talking demon, trees that split in half, a CGI ghost, a massive spider, falling signs, and much more. This is an attraction that focuses on props more than it does actors. Our favorite scene featured a train that pushed the wagon.

This is a fun hayride where you’ll be chased by a large combine and you might even see a witch fly in the air. A few of the animatronics weren’t working properly and the audio was muffled on a few as well. We wish more emphasis was put on the acting, but we still had an enjoyable time. Carnevil is a 3D adventure where the actors aren’t clowning around. Put on your 3D glasses and watch as colorful images come alive. We were pretty impressed with the artwork and the actors did a decent job portraying clowns and other characters. This is a short haunt lasting around 5 minutes.

Next up is Outbreak. This is one of Hanna Haunted Acres’ scariest attractions and it also features a variety of scenes and scares. There’s been a terrible chemical spill causing residents to become infected. Now you must survive a zombie apocalypse of epic proportions. You’ll explore a hospital, nuclear waste area, ambulance, doll room and so much more. Many of the actors resemble zombies that want to snack on your brain. This is a 7 minute attraction.

The last two attractions are Field of Fiends and Hooded. Field of Fiends is a haunted cornfield where your imagination will run wild. There’s something sinister hiding in the corn stalks and you better find the exit. Tour time varies depending on how good you are at mazes. You could be in there for as little as 5 minutes or over an hour. Last, but certainly not least is Hooded.

Hooded is a unique dark maze where a hood is placed over your head while you try to escape the darkness. You must sign an electronic waiver before entering. Hold on to the left side of the wall as actors grab, push and yell at you. This is a pretty intense dark maze and one of the scariest attractions at Hanna Haunted Acres. We were in there for under 10 minutes. The sheet maze may add to the time depending on how lost you get. Hooded is not included in the regular admission.

You’ll be at Hanna Haunted Acres for about an hour, but it could be longer depending on how lost you get in Field of Fiends. There are plenty of concessions available including food, drinks, makeup, novelty items and more. There’s ample parking and it’s free. The attractions are fun, but we do wish that the acting was better. Actors are the bread and butter of any haunted attraction.

A combo pass is $25 online and $27 at the door. A Fast Pass is $37 online and $40 at the door. Hooded is $13 online and $15 at the door.  It’s only $5 when included with a combo ticket or Fast Pass combo. The hayride is $18 online and $19 at the door. Single admission to the other attractions is $13 online and $15 at the door.

We’ve been to Hanna Haunted Acres many times throughout the years and we always have a great time.
