“Fright By Moonlight”

Fright Manor is one of Indiana’s longest running haunted attractions. It consists of 3 attractions which are Portal to Hell, Mania and Deranged Deception. We consider these small sections that form one big frightening experience. You’ll be inside Fright Manor for 26 minutes and there are very few moments where there isn’t something exciting happening.
Fright Manor could be considered an old school haunt which it is in some regards. You’ll experience many different types of scenes that will entertain and startle you. Some are funny while others are downright scary. Motel 69 features a lady of the night that will do anything for fifty bucks. She promises that you’ll be crawling on your hands and knees. The Southport Liquor store has a crazed wino who lashes out at people who walk past her. You’ll come in contact with the homeless and even a guy who has some water heaters for sale. These are the people that society has ignored and pushed aside. They’re angry and they’re out to get you.
Say Bloody Mary 3 times in the mirror and get ready. The urban legend is real and you better watch out. This crazed lady will kill you. Fright Manor has a unique cast of characters. The Lady in Black can be seen at a funeral for her grandpa. Let her bless you and you’ll be on your way. Psychopaths and killers roam the halls of Fright Manor. A killer with a saw makes sparks fly as you try to survive. There’s clowns a plenty at Fright Manor. Chuckles seeks revenge and there’s one female clown who will bash your head in with a sledge hammer. She sings a catchy tune as she plans your demise.
You never know what you’re going to see at Fright Manor. There are humans that will attack and even animals. I never expected to see a group of grunting gorillas that wanted to escape their cage. Those damn dirty apes. Other characters include Dr. Root Canal, Michael Myers, chainsaw maniacs and more. Fright Manor has plenty of props and many claustrophobia tunnels. One of my personal favorites is the skeleton that shakes his cage and the ghoul who bangs against the glass in front of him. The disgusting bathroom has a demented boy who pees in the toilet, a victim that’s hanging upside down with his blood drained out into the bathtub and there’s more that might make your stomach turn.
Fright Manor does a good job with its dark hallways. Various props and actors come out of hiding when you least expect it. This is a haunt that could benefit from better lighting in some of the outdoor scenes. Some of Fright Manor could also benefit from more music and sound effects. There are scenes that would be more effective with a scary soundtrack. But overall this is a very fun haunt. It’s one where you’ll have a great time as you explore its haunted halls. There’s a reason why we visit Fright Manor year after year. It’s a quality attraction.
