The Haunted Halls of Hercules-“The Halls Come Alive With Fear”
What could be a better location for a haunt then an old manufacturing factory? Even during the day this place looks haunted, but at night the real fun begins. This is The Haunted Halls of Hercules and another great haunt that can be found at The Factory of Terror.

Length-9: It will take over 20 minutes to tour The Haunted Halls of Hercules. While there are a few dead spots here and there, there aren’t enough to effect the overall score.

Design-9: This Canton haunt doesn’t follow one specific theme, but has a lot of rooms that will appeal to the masses. Some scenes include a black light clown circus, spooky cemetery, light tunnel, Michael Myers room and much more. As with The Labyrinth of Terror, many of the scenes aren’t lit well enough to showcase the amount of detailing in may of the sets. If you are going to invest a lot of money into props and scenes, they should be properly lit.

Props/Animatronics-9: A lot of the props you’ll encounter are obviously homemade, but the average haunt goer won’t be able to tell the difference. But with scenes like the foggy graveyard there are a few zombie animatronics courtesy of Scare Factory. But the majority of props and animatronics are impressive and ones you won’t see anywhere else.

Acting-9: There aren’t many stand out characters at The Haunted Halls of Hercules, but most of the actors are intense and in your face. While the acting is great, I would like to see the use of makeup be utilized on more of the actors to give them a more realistic look.

Scare Effect-9: The scares start right away when you first enter the haunted factory. Some of the sets before you enter The Haunted Halls of Hercules are a caged jail with a nuclear skeleton hiding inside. You’ll also see a twitching torso which hangs from the ceiling. Overall there is something for everyone rather it be the unique sound effects or the frightful animatronics.

Fright Value: $10 is a good deal for a haunt that will last over 20 minutes. Make sure to purchase a $16 combo tickets so you can tour both haunts for under $20.

Final Stab-9.0: The Haunted Halls of Hercules returns for another year of factory fright. While not much has been improved, this Canton haunt is better than ever.
